My artwork investigates class, wealth, and American culture through absurdity, humor, and metaphor. I use the motif of a cake as a way of exploring ideas of celebration and societal values. My art employs irony as a way of addressing the often frustrating complexity of day-to-day American life as being affected by political media, wealth disparity, and the internet.
